Album Review – Insatiable by Nadine Coyle

Apparently Nadine Coyle’s debut solo album isn’t doing too well, which is a shame because it contains some pretty good pop songs. Actually, it contains about three or four good pop songs and several other tracks that aren’t quite as good but are still better than most songs on Cheryl Cole’s Messy Little Raindrops.

This is my iTunes play-count on Nadine’s album to give you a better idea as to which songs are good and which are not:

Runnin’ – 3 plays
Put Your Hands Up – 2 plays
Chained – 3 plays
Insatiable – 10 plays
Red Light – 4 plays
Sexy Love Affair – 2 plays
Lullaby – 3 plays
You Are The One - 3 plays
Natural – 3 plays
Raw – 2 plays
Rumors – 6 plays
Unbroken – 1 play
Make A Man – 1 play

So as you can see, lead single ‘Insatiable’ is  very listenable, especially when not accompanied by it’s terrible promotional video. ‘Rumours’ is a catchy number too, one that will get stuck in your head… and ‘Red Light’ isn’t very good at all but because it’s directly after ‘Insatiable’, it accidentally was listened to more than intended.
